Inondations à Linguère : le ministre Idrissa Samb apporte son soutien aux familles sinistrées
After visiting the rehabilitation work on the Thylla bridge, the Minister of Employment, Vocational and Technical Training, Idrissa Samb, went to the commune of Linguère to meet with the affected populations.
The minister was received by the maraboutic family of Nguith. He requested prayers for Senegal and for the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, to be able to govern in a peaceful atmosphere.
In Linguère, the minister visited the neighborhoods of Linguère Coumba, Mboussène Dialou Rails and Thiéli where he met with about forty families affected by the recent floods.
Support Financial aid and food supplies were given to the victims to support them through this difficult time.
"It's just a symbolic act for the benefit of my fellow citizens who are in difficulty, to show that we are indeed on their side," the minister said.
The victims praised his gesture, finding his presence a source of comfort. They indicated that the financial and food aid arrived at the perfect time.
It should be noted that Minister Idrissa Samb made courtesy visits to several religious leaders in Dahra yesterday, Friday, and offered his condolences to the bereaved families.
