Interdictions : Pastef annonce une riposte face à ce qu'il qualifie de "sabotages"
Pastef does not intend to remain passive in the face of the bans on its membership card sales ceremonies. The party's communications director announced that legal action will be taken. "Faced with these unfounded bans on the sale of membership cards, we will systematically appeal to the Supreme Court," stated Amadou Bâ.
Faced with what he calls an attempt at sabotage, the former Minister of Culture called on his party colleagues to automatically report bans on gatherings to the party authorities.
“The Supreme Court will be systematically called upon to document this dangerous step backward for citizens’ freedom and political stability,” he warned. The objective, he said, is to prove to the court that these bans stem from a “genuine political agenda.”
"The Supreme Court must be held accountable for these violations of citizens' fundamental rights," he said, calling on the territorial administration to maintain its neutrality and provide factual justifications for its bans on gatherings.
