LFR 2026 : Abdou Mbow accuse la Commission des finances d'avoir « falsifié » le rapport de l'Assemblée nationale
The controversy surrounding the Finance and Budget Control Committee's report on the 2026 supplementary budget bill took an explosive turn during Tuesday's plenary session. Following reservations expressed by ministers and responses from parliamentarians, MP Abdou Mbow also took to the stage to stir things up, denouncing serious irregularities in the reporting of the debates and deeming the situation "very dangerous" for the parliamentary institution.
Speaking in a tense chamber, the parliamentarian strongly condemned what he considers an intolerable drift in the preparation of official documents. For him, the inconsistencies raised during the session reflect an institutional dysfunction far more serious than a simple typo or administrative transcription error. "We now have a National Assembly that is falsifying reports," he declared bluntly.
Abdou Mbow directly challenged the methods of the parliamentary commission, arguing that the alleged falsification of a document binding the national representation sets an unacceptable precedent for the credibility of the Republic. "Today, we have a commission that has falsified the National Assembly's report, and that is very dangerous for a National Assembly," he asserted. With this forceful statement, the MP shifted the debate onto the thorny issue of transparency, the truthfulness of parliamentary acts, and the accountability of the legislature.

Mais au Sénégal où certains benêts refusent à l'assemblée ses pouvoirs, on essaie de monter des cornes à des grenouilles.
