The rejection of the Amending Finance Law (LFR) could prove costly for the Senegalese private sector. At a press conference held on Monday, October 26, 2026, Aminata Touré warned that businesses and their workers risked bearing the brunt of the Pastef party deputies' refusal to vote for the bill.
According to her, 300 billion CFA francs could be lost to the private sector if the revised budget law is not adopted. Aminata Touré believes that the consequences of this blockage would not be limited to public finances, but would directly affect businesses and workers.
"It is the private sector and its workers who will pay the price," she warned, blaming the Pastef deputies for the potential economic consequences of this refusal to vote.

Laisse mouton courir Tabaski arrive!
Diomaye djeredjeff 🙏
