Limogeage de Waly Diouf Bodiang : L'ancienne députée Maïmouna Sène règle ses comptes et le pilonne sans retenue !
“ For months, Waly Diouf Bodiang had been acting as a self-appointed prosecutor, arrogantly demanding the dissolution of the Alliance for the Republic (APR). Today, the political verdict has been delivered, without appeal: President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has taken responsibility by signing his dismissal. What an irony! The very man who wanted to dissolve the APR finds himself ‘dissolved’ from his state functions. ”
These remarks come from Maïmouna Sène, former parliamentarian of Senegal and ECOWAS, and member of the National Executive Secretariat of the Alliance for the Republic (APR). She continues: “ This is the brutal end of a stance characterized by excess, immaturity, and contempt for republican principles. May this setback serve as a lesson in morality, restraint, and humility. ”
The Honorable Maïmouna Sène reminds us that " the APR is a major political party, deeply rooted in the hearts of the Senegalese people, with a solid track record and genuine institutional maturity. " She also states: " Waly Diouf Bodiang and his ilk should take note: the APR is a major state party, a solid democratic organization that has structured national political life and led the country for over a decade. "
She reminds us that " a political party is not dissolved by the mere desire of one individual or by invectives from the podium; it lives on through its activists, its values and its achievements. The APR has never been a criminal organization nor a movement dissolved by law for disturbing public order. "
The APR has an undeniable history and maturity.
To Waly Diouf Bodiang, the former parliamentarian of Senegal and ECOWAS reminds her: “ When the Alliance for the Republic was building the foundations of our emergence and preserving the stability of our institutions, your party, PASTEF, was still only a nascent idea. Political legitimacy is acquired through responsibility, not through invective or threats to ban opponents. ”
Maïmouna Sène, a member of the APR's National Executive Secretariat, remarked: " You thought you could use the state apparatus to eliminate your political opponents. Ultimately, it was the reality of power and the demands of the office that removed you from your position. " She hopes this dismissal will serve as a stark reminder to Mr. Bodiang, reminding him that " power is fleeting, but elegance and republican restraint remain the only true hallmarks of great statesmen. "
For Maïmouna Sène, the APR remains an essential political force, proud of its past, mobilized for the present, and ready for the future. She concluded: " At the APR, we continue to serve Senegal with our heads held high. "
