Ndioum : le stade au cœur des attentes des jeunes, Cheikh Oumar Anne promet des travaux
The zonal final played yesterday in Ndioum between ASC Yakar and ASC Diamel brought the issue of sports infrastructure in the municipality back to the forefront. On this occasion, the mayor, Dr. Cheikh Oumar Anne, pledged to renovate the Ndioum stadium as soon as possible.
In response to the expectations of young people and local sports stakeholders, the mayor announced several initiatives to improve playing conditions. These include building a grandstand and installing a grass pitch at the stadium.
For Dr. Cheikh Oumar Anne, sport plays an important role in the lives of young people. He indicated that he and his team were ready to support the local sports and cultural associations (ASC) and work to improve their infrastructure.
Now, the challenge is to fulfill this promise. The project could be funded by the town hall's own resources or through private investment. The young athletes of Ndioum are eagerly awaiting the first tangible results.
This announcement comes during the zonal final between Yakar and Diamel, a match that brought together local football stakeholders and municipal councilors.
