Rationalisation des agences : Amadou Ba dénonce un « reniement » du gouvernement pour caser les transhumants
The debate on streamlining public agencies has returned to the forefront of political news. In a recent statement, MP Amadou Ba, a member of Pastef, accuses the government of abandoning the reform to merge and eliminate agencies, a reform that had already been finalized.
"To accommodate the political opportunists and allow the CEOs to have solid political bases in Kiraye, the Government is throwing away the already finalized project to merge and eliminate the Agencies," he denounced.
According to the parliamentarian, this reform was intended not only to generate significant budget savings, but above all to ensure operational coherence and efficiency. He laments that, beyond the excessive staffing levels, many agencies have overlapping missions and produce no concrete results.
For Amadou Ba, maintaining these agencies at a time when the population is being asked to make budgetary sacrifices constitutes yet another betrayal for political reasons. He insists that the people will not foot the bill for the structural adjustment budget alone, believing that the government must streamline its operations and contribute to the national effort.
In conclusion, the MP reminds us that the National Assembly raises fundamental questions about the future of the country.
