Saignée à l’APR : le ministre Samba Ndiobéne Ka rejoint Diomaye Président.
The Alliance for the Republic (APR) is going through very difficult times in Linguère with mass departures of officials from the party of former President Macky Sall to the Diomaye President coalition.
The Minister-Mayor of Dahra, Samba Ndiobéne Ka, who until now led this political formation in the department of Linguère, has also thrown in the towel to join the future political party of Diomaye, which will be launched on August 8th at Dakar Arena.
His joining the Diomaye coalition risks completely weakening the APR in Djoloff where 14 mayors, all members of this party, have already left the ship.
Even though some local officials are trying to remobilize APR activists and supporters, the departure of the mayor of Dahra risks leaving a significant void, given that he controlled almost all the municipalities in the department. This exodus continues within the APR, where other high-ranking officials are expected to join the future presidential party.
