« Sénégal 2050 » : les priorités du successeur de Al Aminou Lô
Alain Diouf, the Minister in charge of Monitoring and Evaluation of the "Senegal 2050" Transformation Agenda, officially took office during a handover ceremony with his predecessor, the current Prime Minister Mouhamadou Al Aminou Lo. In an interview with the newspaper Le Soleil, the latter praised his successor's qualifications and expressed confidence in the continuation of the projects already underway.
Aware of the high expectations, Alain Diouf is committed to accelerating the country's economic and social transformation by building on existing achievements. His priorities include institutionalizing coordination between the various stakeholders in the 2050 Agenda and modernizing monitoring and evaluation tools through the digitization and interoperability of administrative information systems, according to the national daily newspaper.
The new minister is particularly focused on measuring concrete impacts, believing that the performance of projects should be judged by their real and rapid effects on the daily lives of people.
