Appointed by the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, to head the National Credit Fund for Women (FNCF), Sokhna Maï Mbacké Djamil spoke publicly to welcome this decision and clarify the meaning of her commitment to the service of women's empowerment.
In her statement, the new National Director first expressed her gratitude to the Head of State: "I extend my thanks to Mr. President of the Republic Bassirou Diomaye Faye for the confidence he has shown in me by entrusting me with the leadership of the National Credit Fund for Women."
She reiterated that access to financing and support for women economic actors have been the guiding principle of her career. "Women's economic empowerment, their support and their access to financing have always held a special place in my career," she stated.
“When I created YIIW Consulting, I made a point of opening a free support service for women…”
Sokhna Maï Mbacké Djamil explained: “When I created YIIW Consulting, I made it a point to open a free support service for women, to help them structure their projects and access financing more easily. Through this program, we have been able to provide free support to nearly 200 women in the Touba area to date.” She emphasized: “Being able to extend this commitment to a national level gives this mission a deeper meaning, continuing a path already begun several years ago.”
Also greeting the Minister for Women and Solidarity, Marie Angélique Diouf, as well as her family and colleagues, the official philosophically addressed the demands of public debate: “I also thank those who, through their kindness, have long supported me in the positive development of my ideas and respectful debate, as well as those who, through more difficult paths, have helped forge in me an unwavering resilience, unyielding in every word and every action. To both, I owe something fundamental: to the former, the warmth of the journey; to the latter, the strength to continue it.”
She takes the helm of the national structure with the aim of transforming women's credit into a lever for macroeconomic impact: "I pray to the Lord to accompany me in this mission, so that I may participate in the awakening of a Senegal where the economic prosperity of women becomes a force for national development."

Bravo Diomaye.. yangui foweh senegalais yi deh
