Boss is keen to set the record straight: "People were saying that I squandered the money and opened a shop. That's false. Throughout this entire period, the money raised thanks to the outpouring of solidarity was meticulously saved and preserved."

It is thanks to this rigorous management of donations that the medical care was successful. Oumy was able to have surgery at Dalal Jamm Hospital and receive a suitable prosthesis, thus fulfilling the true objective of the initial fundraising effort.

Today, the couple, who are celebrating their third wedding anniversary, intend to turn the page on the slander and remind everyone that behind the screens and hasty judgments of social media are human journeys made of hardship, dignity and truth.
