« Don d’un scanner à l'hôpital de Linguère »: El Hadji Malick Ndiaye dément et précise
The First Vice-President of the National Assembly, El Hadji Malick Ndiaye, felt compelled to clarify a post circulating on social media that attributed to him the donation of a scanner to the Maguette Lo Hospital in Linguère. The former minister stated that it was not a personal donation.
The parliamentarian explains that his role was limited to institutional advocacy work. "Nearly a year ago, I simply brought the grievance of the people of Jolof to the Ministry of Health and facilitated the follow-up of this case with my colleague Honorable Saye Cissé so that our departmental hospital would be equipped with this essential equipment," he specified in a post.
El Hadji Malick Ndiaye also praised the government's responsiveness in handling this matter. "I thank the Ministry of Health and Social Action for its diligence," he added, before putting the issue beyond his own involvement: "This acquisition is first and foremost excellent news for the people of Jolof and for strengthening our healthcare system."
