«Je vois ce qui se dit sur moi, c'est faux...» : La grosse mise au point de Nicolas Jackson
This Saturday, three days after the "Lions'" defeat against Belgium, Nicolas Jackson spoke out about their elimination from the World Cup. "I share the disappointment of an entire nation. We wanted to go further, for you and for this jersey," he lamented in an Instagram post.
But the Lions' striker also wanted to clarify some of the things attributed to him: "I also see what is being said about me. It's false. I don't drink alcohol, I've never drunk it. I love this jersey too much and I respect my teammates too much to behave any other way than professionally," he clarified.
The Lions' striker, who says he understands the anger following the defeat, emphasizes, however, that this heartbreak doesn't give anyone the right to make certain remarks. "I'm going to do what I've always done. Work, get back up, come back stronger. I'll be there," he assures.
