Alerte sanitaire : Un premier cas d’Ebola détecté en France chez un médecin de retour de RDC
France has confirmed a case of Ebola on its territory. The patient is a humanitarian doctor returning from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where an epidemic is ongoing.
According to the French Ministry of Health, the patient arrived on a commercial flight from Kinshasa to Paris. Upon landing, he was immediately taken into care and transferred to a specialized facility to receive appropriate treatment.
French health authorities have stated that his health condition is stable and that all necessary measures have been implemented to prevent any risk of the virus spreading.
With this confirmation, France becomes the first country outside the African continent to officially report a case of Ebola diagnosed on its soil as part of the ongoing epidemic in the DRC.
