The announcement was made this Sunday by the Minister of Health and Public Hygiene, Ibrahima Sy, during the "Grand Jury" program on RFM on October 18, 2026. The minister also announced the upcoming opening of the oncology hospital, with a capacity of 120 beds, scheduled before the end of 2026, as well as the completion of the Diamniadio pediatric oncology center, intended to significantly strengthen the care of children with cancer.
