Actes contre nature sur cinq élèves à Bignona : un étranger déféré devant le procureur de Ziguinchor
The case has sparked outrage within the Bignona community. This Friday, the Bignona police station brought A. Diallo before Prosecutor Abdou Khadre Diop at the Ziguinchor prosecutor's office. The 32-year-old Guinean shopkeeper is being prosecuted for extremely serious offenses: sodomy, repeated rape of minors, and pedophilia.
It all began on Monday, October 12, 2026. On that day, a third party, who wished to remain anonymous, informed the Bignona police station that an unnatural act had been committed against a 17-year-old minor. According to this informant, the act was attributable to a shopkeeper located in the area. He went on to state that the accused behaved like a sexual predator and targeted young boys.
According to him, the suspect lured them into his business by offering them material goods and food, in order to satisfy his urges.
Upon receiving this information, and on direct instructions from the public prosecutor, police officers immediately went to the scene to investigate and arrest the suspect.
The deposition of the first victim
At the scene, investigators took a statement from the first identified victim, Mr. Tall, a 17-year-old high school junior. He spoke in the presence of his legal guardian.
In his detailed account, the teenager stated that the shopkeeper, after giving him an iPhone XR, forced him to have sex with him. It was under these circumstances that the man allegedly penetrated him anally. The young man specified that these assaults were repeated three times, in his assailant's own bedroom, a room he described in detail to the police. He also indicated that, on the day of the police intervention, he had left his tablet charging in the suspect's bedroom. The device was indeed found there and seized by law enforcement officers when the suspect was apprehended.
After informing him of his rights, including the right to legal counsel, the police officers took A. Diallo into custody and escorted him to the police station. Medical requests were immediately sent to the chief medical officer of the Bignona health district so that the accused and all the identified victims could be examined.
The investigation, opened under the direction of the public prosecutor's office, has revealed the extent of the actions attributed to the shopkeeper. According to Seneweb sources, five minor students, all enrolled in school and residing in the area, are involved:
These are Mr. Tall, aged 17, a student in the first year of secondary school; Mr. Tamba, aged 13, a student in the fifth year of secondary school; YA Coly, aged 16, a student in the fourth year of secondary school; S. Sane, alias "J.", aged 17, a student in the first year of secondary school; and AK Badiane, aged 15, a student in the third year of secondary school.
Following his detention, the suspect was brought before the prosecutor in Ziguinchor, where Prosecutor Abdou Khadre Diop is expected to bring serious charges against him. The suspect was immediately remanded in custody.
