Agression à l'arme blanche à Jaxaay : Une expédition punitive se termine devant la justice
The Jaxaay district police station registered a complaint letter on October 13, 2026, filed by EH Ndongo Hanne. In it, the complainant recounts an assault that occurred the previous day in his neighborhood.
According to the complainant, the events took place on October 12, 2026, at around 10 p.m. He was at his home in Ward 11B when a group of individuals armed with machetes appeared in front of his house, intending to attack his son, A. Hanne.
Mr. Hanne states that when his son went outside, G. Mbengue, M. Sy, A. Sèye, and a man named Y. attacked him with machetes before fleeing. He took his injured son to the hospital where the doctor issued him a medical certificate for 10 days, which the complainant attached to his complaint.
An operation conducted in district 11B led to the arrest of five suspects: S. Diagne, 35, a mason by trade, residing in district 11B; PM Seck, 24, a motorcycle taxi driver, also residing in district 11B; MB Diallo, 19, a plumber living in district 12B; Y. Diop, 24, an aluminum joiner; and A. Aïdara, 25, a driver residing in Dalifort. They were taken into custody for conspiracy, possession of a bladed weapon, disturbing the peace, and possession and trafficking of marijuana.
At the conclusion of the investigation, the five arrested were brought before Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office.
