Members of the Union of Aeronautical Activities Personnel of Senegal (Synpaas) are ready for action. They are announcing disruptions starting next week.
Indeed, following the filing of a one-month strike notice, the union members, who denounce the silence of their supervising minister, announce that "flights of the company Air Senegal SA will be disrupted from Thursday, October 15, 2026".
They accuse the national company of refusing to settle its debt of more than 31 billion CFA francs to LAS SA, the company managing the Blaise-Diagne International Airport in Dakar (AIBD), while continuing to collect fees from passengers.
"Despite everything, the fact remains that today our demands are not taken seriously and our rights are trampled by the authorities who run this sector," they denounce.
