Axe AIBD - Dakar bloqué : Nouveau point sur le carambolage
A multi-vehicle pileup is causing major traffic disruptions on the Dakar-AIBD highway on Friday, August 28, 2026. The road is currently closed between Toglou and Sebikotane, in the AIBD-Dakar direction.
According to an alert issued by the Autoroute de l'Avenir (A7), the accident is causing significant delays and lengthening response times. A traffic jam of approximately 5 km is reported in the AIBD-Dakar direction, while a 1.5 km queue of vehicles has also formed in the Dakar-AIBD direction.
Faced with this situation, users coming from AIBD or the motorway network are advised to take exit 13 of AIBD, in order to reach the national road and bypass the affected area.
The Autoroute de l'Avenir (Highway of the Future) is calling on motorists to be patient and cautious while the intervention operations continue.
