Bounkiling : Décès tragique du président de l'odcav dans un accident
The educational, sporting, and political communities of Bounkiling are deeply saddened by the accidental death of Adama Manga, better known as "Obama." A supervisor at the Bona Middle School, president of the Bounkiling Departmental Council (ODCAV), former deputy mayor, and current municipal councilor, he died in a violent traffic accident yesterday, Wednesday, around 5:00 PM.
According to information gathered from those close to her, the victim was returning from a visit to the Medina Wandifa crossroads, located about 5 kilometers from Bounkiling, where she had gone to inquire about the progress of the work on her house.
It was at an intersection that his motorcycle collided with a truck that had just been repaired and was conducting a test run. The irreparable then occurred. His body is currently at the Bounkiling health center awaiting his funeral, scheduled to take place in Djiragone, his native village.
His death leaves a great void within his family, the educational community, the sports movement and the local authorities of the region.
