Reported missing since Sunday, October 4, 2026, Mouhamed Diop was found dead three days later in Nord-Foire, in his car. The deceased was parked securely on the sidewalk, and all his belongings were found inside his sedan, suggesting he may have suffered a medical episode.
But according to the family and images of his vehicle published on social media, the door was stained with blood.
Despite these factors, the prosecutor decided not to order an autopsy. According to the deceased's father, the judicial authorities decided to bury Mouhamed Diop in the nearest cemetery due to his advanced state of decomposition. This decision did not satisfy the father, who was interviewed by Seneweb.
"If forensic doctors were able to determine the cause of death from bones found behind the palace, how can they not perform an autopsy on my son and find out how he died?", he asks.
