Chinois tué à la Cité Fayçal : le téléphone de la victime fait tomber trois suspects
The investigation into the bloody robbery at the Cité Fayçal housing complex, which claimed the life of Chinese national Wang Lun Guang on July 15, has taken a dramatic turn. According to Libération, the investigation by the Urban Security Unit (SU) has accelerated thanks to the geolocation of the cell phone stolen from the victim during the attack.
The device, discovered in Kounoune, led to a sting operation and the arrest of a first individual, who claimed to have bought it in Keur Massar from a merchant named T. Guèye. The deployment of investigators to Keur Massar and then Colobane resulted in the subsequent arrest of the seller and the suspected receiver of stolen goods. All three suspects were taken into custody for conspiracy, receiving stolen goods, and armed robbery committed at night with violence, the use of firearms, and the use of vehicles. The victim's phone was seized as evidence, the newspaper added.
