On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the Diamaguène Sicap-Mbao police station brought A. Diallo, 22 years old, of Guinean nationality, who claimed to be a mechanic and lived in Diamaguène, before the prosecutor's office.
The arrest of the accused follows a complaint filed at the Diamaguène Sicap-Mbao police station by Mr. W. Barry, for kidnapping, abduction of a minor and rape resulting in pregnancy.
According to the complainant's statements, the accused had been in a romantic relationship with his 16-year-old daughter, M. Barry, for several months. The father claims to have repeatedly ordered A. Diallo to end all contact with his daughter. These orders, however, were ignored, as the suspect continued to meet with the young woman clandestinely at his home.
It was in this context that, on the night of September 14-15, 2026, around midnight, W. Barry, noticing his daughter's absence from the family home, went to the accused's residence. There, he reportedly found his daughter locked in a room with A. Diallo, who refused to open the door to let her out. It was thanks to the intervention of neighbors that the door was finally opened, allowing the young girl to be rescued. Invited to the police station with her parents, the victim confirmed her father's statements.
A request for a gynecological examination was sent to the head doctor of the Khadimou Rassoul Health Center in Mbao. The medical findings indicated a 10-week pregnancy. A search of the area led to the arrest of the suspect. During questioning, A. Diallo confessed to the charges against him. He was taken into custody for kidnapping, abduction of a minor, and rape resulting in pregnancy, according to Seneweb sources.
At the conclusion of the police investigation, the suspect was presented this Tuesday, September 22, 2026, to prosecutor Saliou Dicko.
