Diamniadio : six individus arrêtés, du chanvre indien et du kush saisis
As part of their plan to combat drug trafficking and use, the Gendarmerie Brigade of Diamniadio, supported by elements of the eponymous Surveillance and Intervention Squadron, conducted a security operation on Monday, June 8, 2026, in the territory of Diamniadio, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
During this three-hour operation, the gendarmes
proceeded to arrest six individuals suspected of drug trafficking.
The searches carried out on site resulted in the seizure of one hundred and fifteen cones of Indian hemp as well as twenty-one bags of kush, a substance with particularly powerful effects.
The six people involved were taken to the Diamniadio Brigade for the purposes of the investigation and will be brought before the competent Public Prosecutor's Office at the end of the procedure.
