Drame à Mbeubeuss : le corps d'un nouveau-né découvert dans un sachet en plastique
On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, around 4 p.m., the tranquility of the Mbeubeuss landfill was disturbed by a gruesome discovery. The Malika district police station was alerted to the presence of a lifeless body at the site.
Upon arrival, police discovered the body of a newborn male. The child, who still had his umbilical cord attached, had been concealed inside a black plastic bag, itself wrapped in a yellow sheet.
The usual on-site and examination of the body was carried out by Dr. MN of Keur Massar Hospital. Simultaneously, photographs were taken to document the condition and position of the body.
Following these steps, Prosecutor Saliou Dicko ordered the child's burial directly at the scene, an operation carried out by the firefighters. An investigation was immediately opened to shed light on this case.
