Gade : un jeune homme mortellement fauché par un camion
Another traffic tragedy occurred this morning in the Tivaouane department. A young man lost his life after being violently struck by a truck reportedly belonging to the Chemical Industries of Senegal (ICS). The accident took place near the village of Gade, located a short distance from the industrial facilities.
According to reports, the victim was struck by the truck under circumstances that are still being investigated. The impact, of rare violence, proved fatal. The young man is believed to have died instantly.
This latest accident has reignited concerns among residents living near the ICS facilities and along roads regularly used by heavy goods vehicles. They are once again questioning traffic conditions and the safety of local residents in this area.
The exact circumstances of the accident and any potential liability remain to be determined. An investigation should shed more light on the causes of this tragedy.
