Grand Dakar : Il chute de sa moto en tentant d’échapper aux policiers et se fait prendre avec 31 képas de kush
The officers of the Grand Dakar district police station arrested an individual in possession of several kush kepas.
The incident occurred on September 2, 2026, around 1 p.m., at the Kayma roundabout in Grand Dakar. Police officers directing traffic were intrigued by the behavior of a motorcyclist who, upon seeing them, attempted to evade a checkpoint before crashing spectacularly.
Faced with this behavior, which they deemed suspicious, one of the police officers seized the driver's bag to check its contents. The search revealed a sock containing 31 kepas of kush.
The suspect, identified by the initials I. BA, residing in Niary Tally, also had two mobile phones, an iPhone 11 Pro and an iPhone XR.
The investigators then went to his home, located in the Kogne Ndiago neighborhood. A search of his room yielded equipment believed to be used for drug packaging, including three pairs of scissors, a batch of white paper, and several pieces of paper similar to those used to package the seized kush packets.
The drugs, the Liberty brand motorcycle, the two cell phones, the three pairs of scissors and the bundle of papers were confiscated at the service for the purposes of the investigation.
I. BA was taken into custody for possession and trafficking of kush drugs. The public prosecutor's office was notified and an investigation was opened.
