Grand-Yoff : le piège sordide d'un menuisier de 39 ans sur une mineure de 15 ans
D. Faye, a 39-year-old carpenter, is facing serious charges. "Already known to the neighborhood for sex offenses," he was arrested Monday in Djeddah Grand-Yoff. This neighbor, described as a "regular in the area," is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl, a student in the fourth grade, reports L'Observateur.
Taking advantage of his close relationship with the family, the same source indicates, the suspect first sent the minor to buy him cigarettes. Then, noticing that "the family home was deserted" upon his return, he surprised her in her room. "After locking the door, he forced her to submit to sexual penetration."
Upon leaving the room, the accused came face to face with a family acquaintance who surprised him "as he was zipping up his pants." It was she who discovered the victim on the bed, in a "state of psychological distress."
Although the suspect "persists in his denials" and denies entering the room, he has been taken into custody. A medical referral has been sent to the Grand-Yoff General Hospital for a "complete gynecological examination," while the victim is receiving psychological support, reports the newspaper of the Future Media Group.
