Mr. Dieng, a wealthy trader, was shocked to discover that his five bank accounts were empty when he went to an agency in Pikine.
According to L'Observateur, as part of their activities related to the iron trade and vehicle imports, Mr. Dieng entrusted K. Diagne, a 27-year-old parking lot manager, with the task of "depositing the profits from the transactions" into five bank accounts whose numbers he had provided. The businessman sent him sums ranging from 300,000 to 2 million CFA francs via Wave, "without ever requesting any written receipt."
Upon checking his bank accounts, Mr. Dieng discovered that K. Diagne had made "no banking transactions." The defendant, however, admitted to having received 9 million.
In the dock of the Pikine-Guédiawaye court of flagrant offenses, K. Diagne, quoted by the newspaper of the Future Media Group, claims to have invested the money in "the purchase of a Mazda CX-2018" intended for their commercial activity.
Quoted by the same source, his lawyer also mentions a delay in the delivery of a container and requests that the facts be reclassified as breach of trust rather than fraud.
The plaintiffs denounce "fraudulent maneuvers" and are demanding 30 million in damages. The verdict is expected this Friday, October 30.

Les gens peuvent facilement bouffer ton argent et si tu les traduis en justice tu perds encore beaucoup de temps avec des va et vient juste pour récupérer une partie de la somme due
