Guédiawaye : visé par une quinzaine de plaintes, un redouté lutteur tombe
His custody is expected to end this Tuesday, reports L'Observateur. He is the notorious W. Sakho, alias Ndioum Sakho, a wrestler with an imposing physique, arrested by the Wakhinane-Nimzatt Research Brigade.
At the head of a gang of alleged accomplices, the giant had transformed the beaches of Malibu and Gadaye, as well as the VDN 3, into veritable hunting grounds. His preferred targets at dawn and dusk: motorists whose cars had broken down, motorcyclists, athletes, and walkers.
Already sentenced in May 2024 to two years in prison for similar offenses before being released, the repeat offender now has around fifteen complaints filed between the central police station and the Wakhinane-Nimzatt police station, according to the daily newspaper of the Future Media Group. Reports circulating on social media have also bolstered the case, including the testimony of a European national claiming to have been assaulted on the VDN 3 highway.
Located in the Comico housing project in Guédiawaye, the suspect fiercely resisted arrest before being subdued by police. Since his detention, about ten alleged victims have already come to the station to re-filing their complaints. More complainants are expected, concludes L'Observateur.
