Inondations au Sénégal : Amadou Ba présente ses condoléances et exprime sa compassion aux sinistrés
Following the heavy rainfall that struck several localities in the country yesterday, causing significant material damage and loss of life, former Prime Minister Amadou Ba broke his silence to express his solidarity with the bereaved nation.
The president of the New Responsibility/Jamm-ji movement wanted to express his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and a message of support to all the populations affected by these storms.
"The heavy rains of the past few days have severely affected several localities in our country and brought grief to families. I offer my sincere condolences to the families of the victims and my deepest sympathy to the populations affected by the floods and the damage caused by these storms," said the former head of government.
The politician paid particular attention to the tragedy that occurred in the Dakar suburbs, specifically in Parcelles-Assainies, where a building collapse due to severe weather claimed the lives of a mother and her young child. "My thoughts are especially with Parcelles-Assainies, where a mother and her child tragically lost their lives. May God grant the deceased His forgiveness and welcome them into His eternal Paradise. May He bring comfort and courage to all the bereaved families," he prayed.
