Kébémer : Un quadragénaire retrouvé mort dans sa chambre, le corps en état de putréfaction avancée
A man in his forties was found dead in his room in the Mbabou neighborhood (Kébémer). He has been identified as Laye Kébé, and his death is believed to have occurred more than ten days before the grim discovery.
According to initial reports, it was a foul odor emanating from the deceased's room that eventually alerted the neighbors. Intrigued and worried, residents of the neighborhood forced their way into the room, where they discovered the body of Laye Kébé, already in a very advanced state of decomposition.
Given the seriousness of the situation, firefighters had to intervene to extricate the body, an operation made particularly difficult by its condition. The body was then released to the deceased's family for burial.
An investigation has been opened by the Kébémer police to establish the precise circumstances of this death. At this time, no leads are being prioritized and the investigation is ongoing.
