The Regional Narcotics Brigade (BRS) of Kédougou, under the Central Office for the Repression of Illicit Drug Trafficking (OCRTIS), arrested an individual for possession and transfer of psychotropic products, illegal sale of medicines and illegal practice of the profession of pharmacist.

The operation follows operational intelligence indicating the existence of a suspected Tapentadol tablet trafficking network in the Dinguessou district of Kédougou.

Following investigations carried out by the BRS elements, the suspect was apprehended in possession of 4,300 Tapentadol tablets.
