KOTHIARY (GOUDIRY) : Un couple sur une moto mortellement heurté par un véhicule
The road has claimed more victims. This time, a violent accident occurred yesterday morning on National Route 1, just outside the town of Kothiary in the Goudiry department. The driver of a Peugeot 505 minibus, attempting to enter a gas station, collided head-on with a TVS motorcycle, instantly killing the man and his wife who were riding on the motorcycle.
Alerted, members of the gendarmerie brigade deployed to the scene to conduct the standard investigation. The two bodies were taken to the morgue at the Tamba regional hospital by firefighters.
The driver of the vehicle is arrested for manslaughter and failure to maintain control.
