The dispute between model A. Ndiaye and her French husband, EAJ Garnier, is a battle of complaints. L'Observateur reports on their conflict surrounding a car engine business and an alleged breach of trust involving 24 million CFA francs.
The couple settled in Saly in 2024 to launch this business, financed by the husband and managed by the model. Faced with opaque accounting practices, EAJ Garnier arrived in Senegal last May to review the business. The figures presented indicate "92 engines sold," "34.8 million in revenue," and "10.8 million in expenses." The net profit, estimated at "24 million," has apparently vanished.
Having been refused access to the store and the marital home, the Frenchman filed a complaint against his wife for "breach of trust" and demanded the return of the funds before the Mbour criminal court.
A. Ndiaye, quoted by the same source, vehemently denies these accusations. She maintains that the shop was given to her by her husband as a "wedding gift." She accuses him, in turn, of "abandoning his family" and stealing one million in cash as well as the sales ledger. She has also filed a lawsuit.
