« Le devoir accompli » : Toussaint Manga brise le silence après son limogeage
In the aftermath of his dismissal from the General Directorate of the Senegalese National Lottery (LONASE), Toussaint Manga reacted through a publication in which he takes stock of his time at the head of the public company and reaffirms his political commitment.
In his message, the former director general thanked President Bassirou Diomaye Faye for the trust he had placed in him, as well as Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko. He stated that he had carried out his duties "with a sense of duty fulfilled."
Toussaint Manga highlighted the results achieved under his leadership, citing 19 billion CFA francs in net profits in 2025 and over 90 billion CFA francs in revenue collected between October 2025 and June 2026 for the benefit of the State. According to him, these achievements are the result of collective work carried out with LONASE staff and its partners.
The former director general also took the opportunity to reaffirm his loyalty to the political project championed by Ousmane Sonko. "Positions are temporary, but convictions remain," he wrote, asserting that he felt "neither bitterness nor regret" after his dismissal.
Finally, Toussaint Manga sends his congratulations to his successor, Abdourahmane Baldé, to whom he wishes "full success" in his new role, while affirming that he remains "standing, committed and resolutely at the service of Senegal".
