Licenciement des 32 agents du PF2E : Le collectif contredit le ministre Idrissa Samb et exige leur réintégration
In response to the statements made by Minister Idrissa Samb during the government's latest press briefing, the Collective of dismissed workers contradicts him and reaffirms its demand: the outright reinstatement of the 32 employees.
While the former workers welcome the Minister's recognition of their skills, experience and commitment, they nevertheless contest his legal argument regarding the impossibility of signing permanent contracts (CDI) within the framework of the PF2E.
On this point, the group urges Idrissa Samb to reconsider his position. Specifically, they ask him to reread the response from the Directorate General of Labor as well as the information provided by the Dakar Labor Inspectorate, which, according to the dismissed employees, acknowledges the possibility of concluding permanent contracts with the workers in question.
The group then raises a legal question that sounds like a direct challenge to the minister: "Between the law and the decree, which is the superior standard?"
The workers believe that the provisions of the Labor Code should prevail in the analysis of their situation. They also denounce what they consider to be a deliberate confusion between the signing of new permanent contracts and their own contractual status. "It is important not to confuse the signing of new permanent contracts with the situation of the 32 employees who already had permanent contracts before their dismissal," they explain.
"We are only asking for one thing: our reinstatement."
For the group, there can be no question of diverting the debate from its true purpose. The 32 officers are demanding redress for what they consider an injustice and respect for their rights.
They point out that behind this administrative file are 32 fathers and mothers, some of whom have dedicated several years to the implementation and development of dual training in Senegal.
Referring to the minister's remarks, the workers reminded him that he himself had acknowledged the injustice they felt they had suffered. Therefore, they maintained that no lasting improvement in the social climate could occur without a definitive resolution to their situation.
While reaffirming their willingness to engage in dialogue and consultation, the dismissed employees warn that they now expect concrete results rather than mere declarations of intent. "Our demand remains clear, singular, and constant: the reinstatement of the 32 dismissed employees to the PF2E," the group insists.
The workers are therefore calling on Minister Idrissa Samb to take the necessary measures to end this crisis, while respecting the rights and dignity of the people concerned.
Their response ends with an unequivocal phrase: "Justice, nothing but justice!"
