Mboula : Le maire refuse d'octroyer 100 hectares à une coopérative agricole dirigée par un responsable de Pastef
In Mboula, a land dispute is taking a political turn. According to the first vice-president of the National Assembly, the mayor of the municipality, Gori Ba, has categorically refused to grant a permit for 100 hectares to an agricultural cooperative. This cooperative is headed by Serigne Diaw, who is also the local coordinator for the Pastef party.
El Hadji Malick Ndiaye has thus called upon the local administrative authorities, including the sub-prefect of the Yang-Yang district, the prefect of Linguère, and the regional governor, to expedite this matter. According to him, the mayor's refusal, a member of the Kiiray political party, is driven by purely political motives. He therefore urges him not to politicize this issue and to respect the already established allocation.
The first vice-president of the National Assembly was speaking on Saturday at the 16th edition of the cultural days of the village of Mbéyène, a locality located in the commune of Mboula, within the district of Yang-Yang.
For 72 hours, the Movement for the Progress of Mbéyène organized a series of religious, sporting, and cultural activities. During this time, local residents also used the platform to demand essential infrastructure, including village electrification, an ambulance, a production road, and the revitalization of the fossil valleys.

Il faut aimer le pays pour faire ce genre de demande
Ceux qui crie tout haut contre le bardage des terres et défenseurs de la légalité se sentent en affrontements pour les mêmes causes défendues.
Appliquer la loi et dire le droit, voilà.
