A meticulously conducted operation by the Nguinth Police Station's Research Brigade resulted in the arrest of four individuals suspected of unnatural acts.
The case began when a specific tip reached the police officers at the Nguinth Police Station. This information indicated that several young men were engaging in unnatural acts by using a gay dating app to arrange their encounters.
To verify these claims, the Criminal Investigation Department decided to implement an undercover operation. An undercover police officer created a profile and contacted one of the suspects. The officer quickly managed to arrange a meeting with a man named KD for non-commercial sex.
Saturday, October 17, 2026: The first suspect was apprehended and confessed.
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the time of the meeting, the police arrested a man named KD, who presented himself as a tiler and resided in Cité Senghor.
During his questioning by investigators, the defendant explained that he regularly receives male partners at his home. He specified that he engages in masturbation and sexual touching with them. He also added to the police that he had only had one instance of complete sexual intercourse with a man.
The investigation continued, and the three accomplices were arrested.
Further investigations allowed investigators to identify and arrest three other individuals involved in these activities.
The first is MSD, who claims to be a health worker and lives in Cité Ouvrière. The second is EHLF, who states he is a merchant and resides in Parcelles Assainies. The third is AKT, who indicates he is a building electrician and also lives in Parcelles Assainies.
When questioned one after the other by investigators, the three men did not deny the charges against them. They openly acknowledged their homosexuality to the police and stated that they had had protected sex with other men.
The exploitation of phones and the search of personal belongings
The meticulous examination of the mobile phones of all the suspects allowed the police to discover numerous erotic messages exchanged with other men as well as gay pornographic videos.
Furthermore, the search of MSD's room at the Cité Ouvrière resulted in the seizure of explicit materials. Police officers discovered three male condoms, eight sachets of lubricant, two small jars of "Eva Pink Lips" lip balm, and a bottle of personal lubricant. All of these items were confiscated and placed under seal for the purposes of the investigation.
The Public Prosecutor at the High Court of Thiès was notified as soon as the suspects were arrested and ordered the opening of a judicial investigation.
According to Seneweb sources, the four suspects underwent medical examinations on Monday, October 19, 2026. To date, the final results of these examinations are not yet available and the investigation is ongoing.
