According to Les Échos, the family of Kalidou Diallo, a Senegalese content creator better known as "The Man from Ziguinchor," has finally recovered his body in Gambia. His burial was scheduled for Saturday, after more than two months of waiting for his loved ones.
Kalidou Diallo died on August 15 in Kerr Serign, Gambia, amidst an intervention by Gambian anti-drug services. His death sparked outrage in Senegal and raised numerous questions. While some accounts suggested possible violence, Gambian authorities denied these accusations. An investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of his death, the same source reports.
