Ouakam : la DIC interpelle deux suspects et saisit 15 boulettes de cocaïne
A night patrol by the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) led to the arrest of two individuals suspected of involvement in cocaine trafficking in Ouakam. The operation took place on September 28, 2026.
According to information released by the police, investigators on patrol in the Ouakam area noticed an individual whose behavior seemed suspicious. An identity check was then carried out.
A security pat-down revealed five packets of cocaine on him. Investigators then continued their search to his apartment, located in the same area.
The search of the premises led to the discovery of ten more balls of the same product, bringing the total number of balls seized to fifteen.
The investigation also allowed the DIC (Criminal Investigation Division) to trace the suspected supplier of the first suspect. He, in turn, was arrested.
The two suspects have been taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing to determine the extent of their activities and any other possible ramifications of the trafficking.
