« Sagaru imam yu téki wul Dara » : les dessous de la plainte d'And Samm Jikko Yi contre Ndèye Leïla Sow, arrêtée par la DSC
Following her hearing at the premises of the Special Cybersecurity Division (DSC) of the national police, Ndèye Leïla Sow, aged 52, was placed in police custody for alleged acts of spreading false news, defamation and public insults against a group of people, through a means of public dissemination.
Seneweb knows a little more about the reasons for the arrest of this woman, who presents herself as an independent public relations consultant.
It all began when the And Samm Jikko Yi group (Ababacar Mboup and his associates) met with the prosecutor of Pikine-Guédiawaye as part of the fight against homosexuality. Following this meeting, Ndèye Sow, also known as Ndèye Leïla, declared on Diop Aïssatou Fall's YouTube channel, PublicSn, that the members of And Samm Jikko Yi must publicly apologize to former President Macky Sall. She made serious accusations against the members of this association, going so far as to call them "sagaru imam yu téki wul Dara, ay magu coba" (a derogatory term for a Muslim who is not a religious leader), and other remarks that Seneweb cannot report.
Faced with this situation, Sokhna Ndèye Diop Jaaratullah, national president of And Samm Jikko Yi Femmes, filed a complaint with the Special Cybersecurity Division for the following reasons: "accusation of homosexuality through the press, defamation, damage to the honor of a third party, public insults and dissemination of false news".
“Indeed, following a hearing that Prosecutor Mr. Saliou Dicko had granted to And Samm Jikko Yi, which was widely reported in the press, this person, whom none of us know from Adam or Eve, throughout a broadcast on Public SN, uttered against the collective remarks whose slander and arrogance are matched only by bad faith, insults whose vulgarity, violence, malice and dishonesty are beyond the comprehension of any civilized human being, against honest people whose moral rectitude is unanimously recognized by their peers, dignitaries whose honor has never been questioned, and who precisely fight for moral values […]!
It seems the only wrong she accuses them of is defending our cultural and spiritual heritage. None of us know her. We have never done her any harm. Yet she went so far as to call the imams in the group homosexuals.
“We want to know by what right someone can freely, on a public media outlet, slander, insult, defame, dishonor honest people who do not know her […]”, reads the complaint consulted by Seneweb.
