Saint-Louis : un enfant de trois ans mortellement écrasé par un camion de l’ONAS
A terrible accident occurred this Monday, October 12, in the Diamaguène district of Saint-Louis. A three-year-old child lost his life after being crushed by a sewage truck belonging to the National Sanitation Office of Senegal (ONAS).
According to eyewitness accounts, the tragedy occurred as the little boy was leaving a shop. He was fatally struck by the truck, in circumstances that remain unclear.
Alerted, the victim's family rushed to the scene, where they could only witness the extent of the tragedy. The scene plunged the neighborhood into shock and grief.
Firefighters intervened to remove the child's lifeless body.
An investigation has been launched to determine the exact circumstances of this accident and to establish any potential liability.
