Sédhiou : Un homme retrouvé mort dans sa chambre à Boumouda
A tragedy has plunged the village of Boumouda, located in the far south of the Sédhiou department, into shock. A man in his fifties, living alone and with a disability, was found hanged in his home in the early hours of Thursday morning. The discovery was made around 1:00 a.m. when young villagers, searching for stray sheep, found the body in the victim's bedroom.
Alerted, the relevant authorities went to the scene to carry out the usual investigations.
The body was transported to the Amadou Tidiane Ba Regional Hospital in Sédhiou. The burial is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, in his native village.
