Surpris dans les toilettes avec sa copine de 13 ans : un jardinier de 53 ans arrêté par la SU de Guédiawaye pour viol
B. Coly, a 53-year-old gardener residing in Cambérène, was taken into custody by the Guédiawaye Central Police Station's Urban Security Unit (SU) for the rape of a 13-year-old girl. Following the investigation, the accused was brought before Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office.
It was Mr. Niang who presented himself at the central police station in Guédiawaye, accompanied by his 13-year-old niece, D. Niang, whom he presented as the victim of a rape committed by a man named B. Coly. In his statement, he claims that his sister, F. Niang, surprised the accused while he was locking himself in the bathroom with the girl.
When questioned by investigators, D. Niang explained that B. Coly, whom she described as being in his fifties, sexually abused her on two occasions. A medical examination of the minor revealed an old hymenal tear, according to Seneweb sources.
The investigation also revealed that, the day after the events, B. Coly left his home to take refuge in Casamance. According to the investigation, he only recently returned to Cambérène, before being arrested.
The statements of the accused
Arrested and taken to the station, B. Coly denied any rape of the girl. He did, however, admit to having a romantic relationship with her, which he said he kept secret, explaining that his wife and the victim's mother were blood sisters.
Regarding the toilet incident reported by F. Niang, he maintains that he was there with D. Niang only to talk to her.
Following his interrogation, B. Coly was kept in custody for the rape of a 13-year-old minor, before being presented to Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office.
