Tivaouane: The Director General of the SNR pays a visit to the General Khalif of the Tijaniyya

The Director General of the National Debt Recovery Company (SNR), Papa Ibrahima Senghor, traveled to Tivaouane this Thursday at the head of a large delegation to pay a visit to the General Khalif of the Tidianes.

This visit, which has become a tradition on the eve of Gamou, was an opportunity for the head of the SNR to request prayers for Senegal, for the institution he leads, and for the success of the mission entrusted to him.

“As every year on the eve of Gamou, we came to pay our respects to the General Khalif of the Tidianes and to ask for prayers for Senegal and for the SNR,” said Papa Ibrahima Senghor.

The Director General of the SNR also emphasized his institution's commitment to strengthening ties with the Sy family of Tivaouane. In this context, he requested prayers for the President of the Republic and for the success of the missions entrusted to the SNR for the benefit of the Senegalese people.

Beyond the spiritual dimension of this visit, Papa Ibrahima Senghor reiterated the SNR's ongoing commitment to supporting religious families and Muslim communities. The contribution made to the organization of the Gamou is thus part of a broader approach of solidarity and support for major religious events in the country.

Through this ziara, the SNR intends to reaffirm its attachment to the religious and social values ​​which constitute one of the foundations of Senegalese society, while renewing its commitment to support Tivaouane in the preparation of the Gamou.
