Tribunal de Thiès : un agent de sécurité de proximité arrêté avec de faux documents au greffe
A community security officer (ASP) working at the Khombole town hall was arrested at the Thiès High Court while attempting to obtain trade registers and NINEAs using forged powers of attorney, according to Seneweb sources.
The events date back to the morning of June 16, 2026. Around 9:00 a.m., the Public Prosecutor at the High Court of Thiès contacted the Police Station of the 1st Arrondissement after an individual presented himself at the registry to request the issuance of trade registers and NINEA for the benefit of two people, named AASALL and M.NDOYE.
The powers of attorney presented in support of his request all appearing to be forgeries, the Prosecutor ordered his immediate arrest. The court's security service promptly took the suspect to the police station.
The individual identified himself as CESALL, 47 years old, claiming to be an ASP (Agent de Surveillance de la Publicité - Public Security Agent) working at the Khombole town hall. When questioned about the facts, he readily admitted them, confessing that the signatures and stamps on the powers of attorney were forgeries, obtained by scanning an authentic document. He stated that he had not fully grasped the consequences of his actions and pleaded for leniency from the court.
Furthermore, the principals AA SALL and the lady M.NDOYE confirmed that they had indeed entrusted him with the mission of obtaining trade registers and NINEAs for them.
CESALL was taken into custody for forgery and use of forged documents, on the instructions of the Thiès Public Prosecutor's Office.
