Viol collectif à la Cité Comico : le second suspect arrêté après une longue cavale
O. Baldé's manhunt is over. Hunted for several months for his alleged involvement in an armed assault followed by a gang rape, the 21-year-old suspect, who claims to be a bricklayer, was brought before the prosecutor by the Yeumbeul-Comico police station. In its Wednesday, September 2nd edition, Libération reports that the events date back to the night of November 29th-30th, 2025.
Around 5 a.m., the victim, AD, an account manager, was on her way to work when she was intercepted by two individuals near the Transmission Camp. Threatening her with a knife and a stun gun, the assailants stole her iPhone 14 before dragging her into a building under construction where she was allegedly forced to endure repeated sexual acts, the newspaper reports.
One of the suspects, D. Kandé, was quickly identified and brought before the prosecutor on December 29, 2025. His alleged accomplice, O. Baldé, had fled. He was eventually located and arrested at the Boune roundabout following an investigation. While in police custody, the young man confessed to the charges against him, according to Libération.
