ZAC de Mbao : comment un ancien militaire est tombé avec 230 vidéos obscènes et 41 photos contraires aux bonnes mœurs
A 23-year-old former soldier, Mr. Fall, was arrested on Thursday, October 1, 2026, by the Mbao district police station, according to Seneweb sources. He is suspected of blackmailing a woman with intimate videos she had sent him. His phone also contained 230 obscene videos and 41 indecent photographs.
Following advice from Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office, the custody took effect on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. The charges against the accused are digital identity theft, illegal collection of personal data, possession of images contrary to public morals, threats to disseminate obscene videos and sexual blackmail.
The suspect gave his identity to investigators: Mr. Fall, a former soldier, residing in the Mbao ZAC.
The origin of the case: K. Diouf's complaint
The procedure follows the deposition of K. Diouf. She stated that she had met, on the internet, a person using a profile that displayed the photo of a woman named "Angela".
After several exchanges, K. Diouf, at the woman's request, sent her intimate videos. In return, he had been promised 500,000 CFA francs.
The situation took a threatening turn. The individual behind the profile threatened to release the videos if she refused to have sex with a man named Mr. Fall. It was after these threats that she received a call from Mr. Fall himself.
The trap was set and the arrest
Faced with this situation, the complainant decided to cooperate with the investigators. Feigning acceptance of the proposal, she arranged to meet Mr. Fall on October 1, 2026 at 6 p.m., in front of the building bearing the sign "Alhamdoulila", located in the Mbao ZAC.
This maneuver facilitated the arrest of the individual by members of the investigation unit. The suspect was apprehended at the meeting place.
The interrogation: from denials to confessions
When questioned by investigators, Mr. Fall initially denied the allegations. He eventually confessed after several sexually explicit videos of women, including intimate videos of K. Diouf, were discovered on his phone.
The contents of the phone
The investigation revealed that an application the suspect had named "Calculator" was actually used to conceal 230 obscene videos and 41 indecent photographs. These images depict women who are currently being identified.
Investigators also discovered several other accounts using women's profiles. The identities of those accounts and the possible involvement of the suspect are being verified. According to the source, he could be the account holder. The investigation is continuing under the supervision of Prosecutor Dicko.
