Arsenal : Le salaire gigantesque de Mikel Arteta
Having signed a contract extension with Arsenal until 2030 on Wednesday, Mikel Arteta also received a significant pay rise. According to The Times, the Spanish manager will now earn €29.5 million per season at the helm of the Gunners.
His previous contract guaranteed him approximately €15 million annually. This pay raise comes after a season highlighted by Arsenal's Premier League title win and a Champions League final appearance. Arteta's new salary is thus almost double his previous earnings. The 44-year-old manager continues his adventure in London with a contract now running until 2030 and significantly higher income than that stipulated in his previous agreement with the club.
